Is The Left Turning On President Obama?

Polls show that the majority of Americans, right and left, are not in alignment with President Obama. Polls are often skewed and can only be taken with a grain of salt. But, what happens when more evidence depicts reality towards even the left not being in alignment with our President? Will mainstream media cover such reality? It is likely they won’t–but, we have identified two future leftist’s engagements which actively or passively target the current U.S. administration and our nation as a whole.

17 September 2011–“Occupy Wall Street” is an event set up to protest “greed and corruption of the U.S. 1%.” Based on their website, they assume that the recent Arab Spring should be emulated. They “plan to use the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic of mass occupation to restore democracy in America.” Don’t they realize that the Arab Spring left thousands dead in over seventeen countries?

6 October 2011–“October2011.org” is an anti-war movement with incredible violent potential. The October 6th date was set to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan and the beginning of the 2012 Federal austerity budget. Some leaders engaged with this initiative are pro-Palestinian activists such as Ellen Barfield and Ellen Davidson. Some have been arrested in their past for anti-war protests, like former Maryland Green Party hopeful Maria Allwine, while others like Kevin Zeese believe traitors such as “Wikileaker” Bradley Manning should be freed. Obviously, this is not the type of crowd you wish your children to hang around with.

What do these two initiatives have in common? They have both aligned with usdayofrage.org. The name alone should spark interest considering the term “day of rage” can be pointed back to President Obama’s old mentor and Weathermen activist Bill Ayers. Chicago 1969, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn organized their anti-Vietnam War “Rage.” This most recent “Day of Rage” is co-organized by a group that calls itself “The War Resisters League.”

There is no question that the great majority of Americans would love to see our troops come home. In a sense, we are all anti-war. Instead of protesting U.S. foreign policy, we should simply support the men and women serving abroad through praise.

Remember, similar activists in the late 60’s and early 70’s did not support our troops rather they spit on them! The same activists of today are similarly minded as those of yesteryear. They are modern day hippies who, today, appear to even oppose their supreme leader–President Barrack Obama. Obama’s one time favorite support base could arguably be leaving him.
