Said Bahaji, a Moroccan-German member of al-Qaeda’s Hamburg, Germany cell, was involved in planning and implementation of the 9/11 plot. He is one of the world’s most wanted men. It now appears that he is living in Pakistan, just like Osama Bin Laden. He lives in the Waziristan region and works for al-Qaeda’s propaganda organization. He left Germany eight days before 9/11 and was close to suicide pilot Mohammed Atta and others. Apparently he has been living in the mountains of Waziristan for close to ten days. Intel on his whereabouts came from the eyewitness account of Rami Makanesi, a German who was arrested in June 2010 in Pakistan. He’s now serving a sentence in the German town of Weiterstadt. Reportedly Makanesi has provided detailed information on Al Qaeda’s leadership structure, their cells, and the whereabouts of senior Al Qaeda officials.
