Americans place a high value on freedom and human dignity. That is a characteristic unique to our history and carved in our founding documents. It is too rare, these days, to have leaders that know how to articulate this and apply it to our national security and foreign policy. Luckily, one of those leaders is a Michigan Congressman named Thad McCotter who wrote a book about the bearing of American values upon the way America interacts with the world.
