Mexican Governor: Ruling Party Collaborating With Drug Cartels

South of the Border Jalisco Govenror Emilio Gonzalez is accusing the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) of collaborating with the drug cartels because they refuse to support a security-bill. He asked members of the State Congress:

“What did you receive? Did you receive money? Did you receive resources to make yourselves rich at the cost of the blood of many Jaliscienses who are giving their lives and tranquility to protect our families?” He pointed out that a former PRI State Governor, Socrates Rizzo, has admitted that some state governors had “deals” with drug cartels.

Kinda hard to fight a drug war….against yourself.
