The Texas State Senate is now officially complicit in the furtherance of stealth Jihad in America. It makes no difference if its recent actions demonstrate willful collaboration or willful ignorance; the result is the same.
Shamefully, the facts behind Senate State Resolution No. 85, which honored an Islamist by the name of Fethullah Gülen, should enrage not only every Texan but every American. It was a resolution with five co-authors – three Republicans and two Democrats – and consisted of less than two full pages, a paltry 328 words. It passed without objection from even one of the thirty-one Senators even though 22 of those words said this:
Fethullah Gülen and the movement for social justice he inspired are truly deserving of recognition for their impact on our global society;
Republican Lt. Governor David Dewhurst chaired the session and said the following after passage on January 25th:
“The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Fethullah Gülen for his ongoing and inspirational contributions to the promotion of global peace and understanding.”
Gülen is an Imam from Turkey and his movement is credited with being instrumental in transitioning his country’s leadership from secular to Islamist. That transition started in 2002 when the Justice and Development (AKP) Party took power. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Abdullah Gül are both Gülen sympathizers.
In 1998, Gülen fled Turkey for the United States, ostensibly to escape indictment for promoting the overthrow of Turkey’s secular government so it could be replaced with an Islamist one. He continues to live in Eastern Pennsylvania and controls billions of dollars while pushing a similar agenda of Islamizing America in the form of countless schools; it has been referred to as “the education jihad.” One of his institutes sits at the University of Houston and boasts of showcasing U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Hou), Kofi Annan, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Nelson Mandela, recent gubernatorial candidate and Houston Mayor Bill White (D), and James Baker.1
Gülen is the quintessential example of a stealth jihadist. In a sermon, he said the following to Turks in 1999 while exhorting them to overthrow their secular government covertly:
You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this. If they do something prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 [in] Syria … like in the yearly disasters and tragedies in Egypt. The time is not yet right. You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey … Until that time, any step taken would be too early–like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside. The work to be done is [in] confronting the world. Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all–in confidence … trusting your loyalty and secrecy. I know that when you leave here–[just] as you discard your empty juice boxes, you must discard the thoughts and the feelings that I expressed here.
Ironically, juice boxes contain the equivalent of kool-aid and disgustingly, the Capitol of Texas is acting as an incubator for Fethullah Gülen’s eggs.
Time to start cracking some before it’s too late.
