This really shouldn’t be all that surprising. BERLIN – An American missile strike killed five German militants Monday in the rugged Pakistan border area where a cell of Germans and Britons at the heart of the U.S. terror alert for Europe — a plot U.S. officials link to al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden — were believed in hiding.
The attack, part of a recent spike in American drone strikes on Pakistan, came as Germany said it has “concrete evidence” that at least 70 Germans have undergone paramilitary training in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and about a third have returned to Germany.
What they don’t mention here is that at least four of the five are Turks w/ German nationality, hence Europe-wide, free-roaming ability, oh and visa-less travel to America. And the really nice thing is that they are just guessing how many of these banditos of ass have actually been to Pakistan. How the Hell could they actually know?Now that Turkey under Erdogan has chosen sides, I can’t imagine it is much of a challenge to get to Pakistan from there.
Really the best thing we have going for us is that our enemies are barbaric and incompetent. AbdulMutallab couldn’t even blow his junk to paradise, the Times Square buffoon failed to even build a bomb. He just threw a bunch or randomly flammable shite in the back of his truck. This is the training these “masterminds” are giving their little splodey-pawns? Pardon me if I’m unimpressed. I’ve built just about every improvised explosive device around, and it ain’t tocket science. I don’t know why they seem to be incapable of creating any legitimate havoc for us here, I mean they have a bunch of college educated obscurantists running things, right? Oh I get it.
Honestly it’s time to take this targeted killing game to the logical conclusion. Terrorists can be killed by any means wherever we can find them. The only restriction I think the President operates under is a preference to capture US citizens if they are on US soil. Once they have left the country and taken up arms or material support for terrorists, F**k ’em! They have no legal right to pursue jihad without the threat of Hellfire and damnation, and we don’t have to wait and catch them in the act. Nope a little conpiratizing with your “about to join you for 72 Goats in Paradise” partners will do just fine for the final provocation. So if the identifier after your adopted Muslim name is al Amriki….you better watch your ass Fred!
