Today on Frank Gaffney’s Secure Freedom Radio, Douglas Feith, the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy for the George W. Bush administration, joins Frank for a candid discussion on Iraq. Douglas, who is the author of War and Decision: Inside the Pentagon at the Dawn of the War on Terrorism, identifies an uncanny nuance from our president’s performance during his speech on Iraq. The president had delivered a similar speech earlier that day at Ft. Bliss.
When he spoke to the soldiers at Ft. Bliss he got up and he said, “As a result of your work, not only does Iraq have a brighter future, but America is more secure.”… It was interesting that in the corresponding paragraph of the speech that he gave from the Oval Office which was carried all across the nation on TV, he dropped the line, “America is more secure.”
