NY Gov. Patterson Offers Alternative Site for Ground Zero Mosque

The most telling question for proponents of the Cordoba Initiative Mosque and Islamic Center is this: If it is not a symbol of conquest or victory as the Cordoba Mosque in Spain, then why must it be at Ground Zero? According to talk show host, Monica Crowley, Governor David Patterson has put his cards on the table and will force Imam Rauf to show his hand.

“The Governor of New York State, David Patterson, …is willing to offer Imam Rauf …state land elsewhere in Manhattan to build a mosque, essentially calling their bluff.”
