In a statement released July 5th, the 199th anniversary of Venezuela’s Independence, Hillary Rodham Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State, congratulated the people of Venezuela and expressed this amazing sentiment:
We share a common history of emancipation and democratic aspiration.
