Haaretz reports: Both Islamic State and Hamas claimed responsibility for an attack in Jerusalem on Friday in which an Israeli border policewoman was killed, but the Israeli army said the assailants didn’t belong to any terror group.
Islamic State’s Amaq news agency said “soldiers of the caliphate” attacked a “gathering of Jews,” and warned the attack “will not be the last.”
…Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri rejected the Islamic State’s claim, saying it was meant to sow confusion, AFP reported. Abu Zuhri said that one of the attackers was a member of Hamas and the other two belonged to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The Times of Israel has details of the assault:
Three West Bank Palestinians, armed with an automatic weapon and knives, carried out near simultaneous attacks at two adjacent locations. Two attacked a group of police officers at Zedekiah’s Cave, and a third stabbed Malka a short distance away at Damascus Gate. The 23-year-old staff sergeant died of her wounds at Hadassah Hospital in Mount Scopus.
