The Jerusalem Post reports: One person was killed in a drone strike in the northern Sinai in Egypt, Channel 2 reported Monday evening, citing Al Jazeera. Two missiles from a drone were shot at a house and vehicle, killing one and injuring several others.
Reports circulated social media claiming Israel was behind the attack, though local media made no such claims. According to Channel 2 the IDF declined to comment. In the same area the Egyptian army and armed men in the region were involved in an exchange of fire and earlier in the day the Egyptian army reportedly killed seven Islamic State (ISIS) members in the area.
Monday morning ISIS claimed responsibility for a rocket attack that landed in landed in a greenhouse in the southern Eshkol Regional Council on Monday, according to ISIS linked news agency Amaq.
