The Algemeiner reports:  The head of a Geneva-based monitoring organization testified before the US Congress on Thursday, presenting an extensive and scathing report on the promotion of terrorism against Israelis by employees of an internationally funded UN body.

Hillel Neuer — director of UN Watch — provided evidence before a joint subcommittee hearing of dozens of new cases of incitement to violence on the social media pages of educators employed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which receives the bulk of its funding from the United States and Europe. The report covers UNRWA staffers — including teachers and principals — in Lebanon, Jordan, the Gaza Strip and Syria.

The more than 40 incidents highlighted in the current report — which Neuer presented before the House Foreign Affairs Committee Joint Hearing of the Subcommitee on Middle East and North Africa and the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organization — are in addition to the previous year’s antisemitic and pro-terrorist posts revealed by UN Watch at the end of 2015.
