The Times of Israel reports: Hundreds of Israelis are expected to attend a demonstration running between the US and Russian embassies in Tel Aviv on Sunday to denounce the international community’s failure to stop the reported massacres of civilians trapped in the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo.
In a Facebook invitation, anti-racism organization Tag Meir called for Israelis to form a human chain between the two missions, which are both located on HaYarkon Street, and demand that regional and world powers “stop the massacres of civilians in Aleppo.”
The event was initially planned to take place Saturday night directly in front of the Russian Embassy in Tel Aviv, but police denied the group a permit, citing a prohibitively high turnout.
