UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has an inner circle that can only be compared to Nazi stormtroopers, a Jewish party donor said on Sunday.
Michael Foster has given hundreds of thousands of pound to the party and made the claim that the Labour leader’s aides resemble member of the Sturmabteilung, the full name for Adolf Hitler’s SA.
The criticism was contained in a devastating opinion piece Mr. Foster penned in the Mail on Sunday. In it he took the leader to task for the direction of the party under his stewardship and the messianic nature of his public appearances.
Mr. Foster had sued to stop Mr. Corbyn from running again for the party leadership without first getting the backing of at least 51 members of Parliament as prescribed by the party’s rules. Corbyn recently lost a vote of no confidence by Labour parliamentarians and faced mass resignations from his top team, the BBC reported.
Britain’s Supreme Court ruled last week against the Foster suit. In Sunday’s op-ed, Foster alleged anti-Semitism from Corbyn supporters.
“Oppose them as a Jewish donor and the riposte from Seumas Milne, Corbyn’s mouthpiece, is that you are part of a Blairite, Right-wing ‘conspiracy’ (the ancient racist rhetoric is that Jews don’t act alone, the malevolent Jew always conspires) to destabilize the democratically and legitimately elected leader,” he wrote.
He discusses attending a rally for Mr Corbyn in Cornwall. “From where I stood in that evangelical crowd, I saw what we have all witnessed across Britain for a year,” he wrote.
“A brand of politics alien to this country, defined and delivered by a divisive, aggressive holier-than-thou cadre of hard-Left socialists with no real policies to speak of, no defined social and economic objectives, just a call for the committed to take this journey with them down the Yellow Brick Road.
“In the midst of this, something is rotten. You are either with them, or you are labelled as being against them and so excluded, briefed against, often threatened and intimidated.
“If you are like me, a Jewish donor to Labour, you are smeared as a Blairite conspirator, plotting to falsely use the accusation of anti-Semitism to damage the Left.”
This is not the first time Mr. Corbyn’s actions have drawn criticism from Jewish supporters of the Labour Party.
As Breitbart Jerusalem reported, just last week Mr. Corbyn was accused of accepting campaign funds from a group with links to the Hamas terrorist organisation.
Friends of Al-Aqsa are alleged to have given a cheque for £10,000 to Mr. Corbyn, an outspoken critic of Israel, when he was bidding to become Labour leader in 2015. A report in the Observer newspaper made the claim, adding that the money came from the proceeds of a fundraising dinner held for Mr. Corbyn’s election.
