Breitbart Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein delivered a live, twenty-minute radio report from Tel Aviv last night with the latest on the terrorist shooting attack in that city that killed four and wounded another sixteen.
“This has all of the trappings of a coordinated terrorist assault and of an organized attack,” Klein reported.
He was speaking during his regular segment on John Batchelor’s national radio program.
Klein reported on the possible terrorist groups involved, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad or individuals acting on behalf of the Islamic State. And he went into detail about the location, timing and other specifics of the assault.

Regarding the possibility of Hamas involvement, Klein stated:
Hamas is very much splintered. You have the political leadership and then you have different elements of the military leadership who don’t necessarily answer to one another….
It could really be any of the above or none.
Logic would dictate that Hamas right now would not want a confrontation with Israel. They seem to have gotten a lot of what they wanted from the ceasefire talks. Hamas has a larger problem on their hands, and that is Islamic State and Islamic State-oriented jihadists in the Gaza Strip. But I would say their second biggest problem outside of the Islamic State is the Palestinian citizenry. They are absolutely furious at the economic situation in the Gaza Strip…
So could it be that maybe Hamas was behind this? Which I think would be very stupid of them at this point because they can’t risk Israeli retaliation. But maybe they want it. Maybe they want to turn the anger of the people of the Gaza Strip against Israel with some kind of confrontation. Or maybe not.
Hamas praised the terror attack and warned it “is the first of many surprises that will be waiting” for Israel during this Ramadan season. Hamas stopped short of claiming responsibility for the attack.
The terrorist shooting attack took place in Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market, an upscale food and shopping center in the heart of central Tel Aviv.
Sarona is located near one of the busiest intersections in Tel Aviv. It’s around the corner from an entrance to Israel’s Ayalon Highway and about three city blocks from the Israel Defense Forces main headquarters in Tel Aviv.
