JAFFA, Israel – Hillary Clinton’s victory speech in her campaign for the Democratic party nomination led many Arab social media users to debate her personality and skills.

“I’m going to take a moment later tonight and the days ahead to fully absorb the history we’ve made here,” Clinton stated during her Tuesday night speech. “But what I care about most is the history our country has yet to write. Our children and grandchildren will look back at this time, at the choices we are about to make, the goals we will strive for, the principles we will live by. And we need to make sure that they can be proud of us.”

Reaction on Arab social media was mixed.

“She won’t win, mark my words,” Alsntani wrote. “America won’t have a woman president. The crazy guy will win.”

“Allahu akbar,” Samia rejoiced. “It’s a victory for women, no woman ever became American president.”

“She can only dream of leading America,” Bashar wrote forcefully. “Victory will go to the great Trump.”

“Hillary’s foreign policy will be a lot worse for our region than Trump’s,” Frida wrote. “As secretary of state, she showed us what she has planned for us.”

“Hillary will be complimentary to Obama’s policy,” Tulip tweeted.

Yaseir came out against her: “Hillary is a shame.”

Abu Hahkal isn’t a big fan either: “May Allah perish her soul as soon as possible.”

“Bill Clinton’s brother, Hillary’s brother-in-law, has been arrested on drug charges,” Mustafa informed his followers.

“What has she got to do with it?” Ali retorted. “Maybe she’s his dealer. How Trump gloats at her misfortune.”

Mohammed tweeted: “Does she really think she’s going to win?”

“Shame on a nation that allows a woman to lead it,” Hilaly wrote.

“She was compensated for her patience towards her husband’s scandals,” Abdullah wrote.

“To all those who dismiss the idea of a woman head of state,” Sahar wrote, “don’t underestimate her. During her reign, you will see things that you can’t foresee. This woman’s power is greater than men’s.”

Yasmin compared Clinton’s looks to those of an Arab woman of the same age. “A woman her age is a tired old lady over here. Look at her and how pretty she looks.”
