The Health Ministry issued a warning on Thursday of a new outbreak of swine flu in Israel, calling on the public to get a flu shot, after one woman died of the H1N1 virus and six other women were hospitalized.
None of the women, who were all placed in quarantine, have been vaccinated for the flu. Another woman hospitalized at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer might have caught the virus as well.
The woman who died was fighting for her life at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva for the past few weeks and passed away on Wednesday night.
