TEL AVIV – A new video making the rounds on Facebook features a little Palestinian girl holding a large knife and demonstrating how to stab Israelis, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reported.
The video, which originally appeared on the Facebook page of Jerusalem Intifada’s Young People’s Coalition, features an off-camera “actor” playing the role of an Israeli and listing the acts of violence Palestinian youth have committed against Israelis.
In response to every statement, the girl, who does not seem to be older than 7 or 8, retorts, “So what?”
The “Israeli” then asks, “What do you tell [Palestinian] youth in the West Bank?” To which the little girl replies: “Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab!” The video appears below:
According to PMW, the term “so what” refers to a hashtag that has been appearing on Palestinian social media. It is used to encourage Palestinians to continue rioting, throwing rocks, and using violence against Israelis.
“#so_what” is a declaration that no matter what Israel does, Palestinians do not care and will continue to carry out stabbing attacks etc.
The hashtag gained popularity following a viral video showing an elderly Palestinian man arguing with Israeli soldiers. A soldier points to rioting Palestinians, saying: “They’re throwing rocks at us.” The old man replies: “So what, let them throw rocks.”
PMW also reported on another video called “How to slit the throats of Jews.” A staged scene shows two “Jews” harassing Palestinian children. A young Palestinian then attacks the “Jews,” stabbing one in the chest and slitting the throat of the other, killing them both. The text accompanying the video reads, “Rise and Resist/ “#Stab/ And do not fear, Al-Aqsa awaits you.”
PMW has documented many instances of incitement to violence by Palestinians, including videos posted by celebrities and the Palestinian government itself.
