A California man who pleaded guilty to sex trafficking and pimping charges in Orange County received a 31-year prison sentence, officials said.
Ariel Cuellar Guizar, 36, of San Jose, pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old, along with giving her methamphetamine and pimping women and underage girls, KABC reported.
Guizar admitted Tuesday to committing 17 felony counts of pimping, human trafficking of a minor, forcible rape, pandering, sodomy of a minor, pimping a minor, supplying a controlled substance to a minor, and firearm possession by a felon as part of a plea deal he accepted, the Orange County Register reported.
Prosecutors say he brought a 15-year-old girl from Los Angeles County to Orange County for sex trafficking after meeting her in February 2016.
He also trafficked and pimped a 17-year-old girl and several other women.
According to a statement from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Guizar rented motel rooms for his victims to perform sex on customers for money that he kept for himself.
Guizar also gave meth to a 15-year-old and raped her, prosecutors said.
He has a history of convictions, including firearm possession by a felon and obstructing justice in Santa Clara County dating back to 2009.
The plea deal also requires that Guizar register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
