Authorities gave the all clear after a suspicious package at an El Al cargo facility near Los Angeles International Airport prompted a response from an LAPD bomb squad on Wednesday morning.
The bomb squad arrived at the facility — located at 5758 Century Boulevard — around 6:30 a.m., a tweet from the LAX Police Department indicated.
The response came after an X-ray unit detected some kind of chemical in a package that was passing through a machine, LAX police Sgt. Gilbert said.
