Lawmakers in California declared a barber shop revolution by approving legislation making it legal to serve a cabernet or cold one while getting your mullet or flattop cropped.
You can’t say Democrat Assemblyman Tom Daly from Anaheim is just another useless politician. He sponsored AB1322 that authorizes hair salons and barbershops to legally offer drinks while customers are having their hair styled.
The Los Angeles Daily News acknowledged that the practice has been going on for some time at may haircutting establishments, but it is illegal.
Based on the Assembly’s vote of 71-0 on Thursday, it looks like smooth sailing ahead as the bill moves to the senate.
