A homeless person stabbed two men in Ocean Beach, because one of them commented that the transient should “get a job.”

A San Diego police scanner reported that a group of men came across  a cadre of homeless people after exiting a bar on Newport Avenue at Bacon Street. The “get a job” comment disturbed one of the transients, prompting him to stab one of the men in the face and another in his right upper torso.

ABC10 News reported that both of the men stabbed were taken to the hospital. The injuries are not life threatening.

The 20-year-old transient fled the scene of the incident, but was caught and arrested shortly after.
