A new Silicon Valley dating app called “Luxy” is attempting to refute the old adage, “money can’t buy love.” The app requires users to have at least a six-figure salary–and even matches users based on their favorite high-end designers.

“It works a lot like Tinder, except this is Tinder minus the poor people,” said Luxy spokesman Darren Shuster, according to the local CBS News affiliate in San Francisco.

Men must make at least $250,000 annually–which must be verified through their tax records–in order to join. As for women? They simply need to be attractive.

Shuster described the app as being similar to a party in high school where the guys get in for $2 dollars and girls get in for free.

Luxy has reportedly received 850 new Bay Area signups in the last month, notes CBS. “We see a lot more members coming out of San Francisco joining Luxy than just about anywhere else in the world,” Shuster said.

The identity of Luxy’s CEO and creator remains private.
