Joan Rivers, who died on Sept. 4, appears to have promoted the iPhone 6 from her personal Facebook page, Los Angeles news station KTLA reports.
A Facebook post was sent out from the late comedian on Friday, where she promoted the new device. Rivers died five days before the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, which is referred to as “the fat one.”
“This badass is being replaced by an iPhone 6 (not the fat one),” the Rivers account wrote, along with an image of the iPhone 4s. The post was deleted shortly after.
There was speculation that a representative for Rivers could have scheduled the post before her unexpected death.
Although the comment was deleted, TMZ was able to grab a screen shot.
The errant post led to jokes on social media.
“iPhone is so big, Joan Rivers came back from the dead to endorse it,” said one Twitter user quoted by KTLA.
