California Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency on Sunday, following a magnitude-6.0 earthquake that struck at 3:20 a.m. and was the region’s strongest in 25 years.

There were no reported deaths, though 120 people were reported injured, three of whom were listed as critical.

The San Francisco 49ers announced early in the day that their game at the new Levi’s Stadium against the visiting San Diego Chargers would still be held.

Despite fears, there was no looting reported in the San Francisco Bay area, which largely woke up to Sunday morning as usual.

Some residents of the Bay Area reported having slept through the earthquake, which hit Napa, some 45 miles northeast of San Francisco, hardest.

A new early warning system designed to alert locals to an earthquake gave those residents who were awake as many as ten second to prepare for the quake’s impact.
