Los Angeles Suburb Overrun by Giant Reptile

What weighs a 150 lbs and wears a suit of armor and can be seen strolling down your driveway if you live in the city of Alhambra? If you said a giant tortoise, you are correct.

Radio station 88.3 KPCC reported that police discovered the auspicious creature racing… crawling… dragging for its freedom on Saturday afternoon in a suburb just east of Los Angeles. Evidently, a local family owned the tortoise and kept it in a nearby home. According to the report, giant tortoises are not native to Southern California. 

Of course if you are a zombie, then it would be a great day in the neighborhood. Jonathan, a well known zombie from Waterfront Park in Portland, has expressed his love for such creatures and made that clear in a YouTube video not too long ago.
