Abbas’ Fatah Party Officials Visit Summer Camp Named After Deadliest Terrorist In Israel’s History

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party is running yet another children’s summer camp named after the terrorist behind the deadliest attack in Israel’s history.  

Fatah officials including Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki visited the Al-Asifa Pioneers youth camp named for Dalal Mughrabi, who led the 1978 Coastal Road massacre in which 38 people — including 13 children — were killed and a further 70 wounded, according to a Facebook post on Fatah’s official page translated by Palestinian Media Watch.

During the visit, a parade took place in which girls marched with Palestinian flags and the image of Mughrabi brandishing an automatic rifle.

While visiting the Al-Asifa Pioneers, Zaki “reviewed the significance of the role of the male and female youth in the Palestinian revolution, since its outbreak,” the Facebook page of the Fatah spokesman for the Southern Hebron District stated.

In August, Breitbart Jerusalem reported on another West Bank camp also named after the terrorist. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, that camp, in the town of Yusef, placed “an emphasis on creating an educated and aware generation.”

More than 28 Palestinian schools have been named after terrorists and three after Nazi collaborators, PMW reported. In May, Breitbart Jerusalem reported that Norwegian donations were being used to fund a Palestinian women’s center that was also named after Mughrabi. The center bore the logos of UN Women and the Norwegian Representative Office to the PA, both of which demanded the removal of the logos.

“Educating Palestinian youth to see terrorist murderers as role models is Palestinian Authority policy,” PMW said in its report.

Mughrabi led several Fatah terrorists in the hijacking of a bus on Israel’s Coastal Road before being killed in a police shootout.
