Convicted Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Yousef Odeh was greeted by relatives and radical supporters upon her arrival in Amman, Jordan, last week, and she received a warm send-off from her radical devotees in Chicago, Illinois, before she was deported and barred for life from re-entering the United States.
Odeh, 70, was deported from Chicago to her native Jordan after the federal government found her guilty of lying on her immigration papers and having her United States citizenship revoked in August.
Supporters of Odeh gave her a warm send-off rally at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport before she was greeted by relatives, friends, and supporters in Amman, according to Algemeiner.
Her supporters included the Philippine National Liberation Movement:

Hatem Abudayyeh of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN), a spokesperson for the Rasmea Odeh Defense Committee, spoke at Odeh’s send-off in Chicago, saying Odeh’s conviction and deportation was a “vicious and phony legal attack from the U.S. government. The phony immigration charge that clearly we’ve said from day one and we’ve said again, three-and-a-half years later at the conclusion of the case, that was nothing related to immigration at all.”

Instead, Abudayyeh suggested Odeh’s breaking of U.S. immigration law was “a case strictly and exclusively about Palestine. It was a case attacking the Palestine Liberation Movement,” and he called Odeh an “icon and leader in the Palestinian liberation movement.” He added, “The U.S. and Israel and losing. They went after our liberation movement and our supporters and solidarity activist in this country because Israel and the United States are losing.”
“Jordan was not my choice,” Odeh said in an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times.
“It was the passport they said they will give me when I get to the airport,” Odeh reportedly said. “I used to have people in Jordan, but it’s been years. I don’t know who’s there, what’s there. I’ll have to find and make a place for myself in my community, which is not easy at my age, rebuilding a life at 70 years old?”
According to the Star Tribune, “Odeh was greeted by several well-wishers after her arrival at Jordan’s international airport” and said she was “very angry, very upset and tired,” before declining further comment.
Odeh was convicted for a 1969 supermarket bombing that left two Israeli Hebrew University students dead and scores of others injured. She had previously confessed to planting the bomb in the Jerusalem terror attack but later claimed her confession was made under duress. In 1970, an Israeli court sentenced her to life in prison, but she only served ten years of her sentence before being released during a prisoner swap deal.
This year, Odeh pleaded guilty to lying to immigration authorities in 2004 about her criminal past while applying for American citizenship.
Odeh was one of the organizers of the anti-Trump Women’s March along with fellow anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour.
In April, Odeh received a standing ovation at an anti-Israel conference she keynoted in Chicago, while the families of her victims held a memorial service to mourn the loss of their loved ones at the same hotel.
During that conference, Sharia law-advocate Linda Sarsour said she was “honored and privileged … to be on this stage with Rasmea.”
Odeh has also been honored by the Palestinian-Syrian owner of Reem’s Arab Street Corner Bakery in Oakland, California, where a huge mural of her face is emblazoned in neon colors on its wall.
