VIDEO: Firefighters Give Heartfelt Tribute to Healthcare Workers Battling Coronavirus

Firefighters in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, are paying tribute in a unique way to healthcare workers battling the coronavirus pandemic.

When the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department heard about the online #HeartsforHealthCare trend to show medical personnel how much they are appreciated, they wanted to take part, according to Fox News.

Moments later in the video, two firefighters place large posters on the ground inside the cluster of vehicles that have “thank you” messages written on them.

“Tonight we join others in sharing #heartsforhealthcare,” the video’s caption reads.

Following the event, Facebook users expressed their gratitude and praised the first responders for protecting their communities during the health crisis.

“Looked awesome!! Thank you for taking the time to do this and thank you for all you do!!” one person wrote.

“Proud to be a part of the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department,” another commented.

Prior to the event, the department shared photos of chalk art left by neighbors who also wanted to show their support:
