Once Paz was reunited with her husband, they embraced and enjoyed a tearful hug.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there have been 133,510 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in New York state, with 6,842 confirmed deaths.
But despite the amount of fatal cases from this virus, there have been other stories of people who have recently recovered from the coronavirus.
A six-year-old with cystic fibrosis recently beat the coronavirus, as well as a 90-year-old grandmother and a 95-year-old World War II veteran. A 104-year-old grandmother in Italy also beat the virus, making her the oldest person to beat the coronavirus in the world.
