Poll: Joe Biden 7 Times More Popular with Ukrainians than Donald Trump

President Joe Biden is seven times more popular than former President Donald Trump among Ukrainians, a poll released Tuesday reveals.

The Hill reports the first-ever poll was carried out by The Counteroffensive/Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

The unabashed affection of Ukrainian respondents for Biden was plain to see as 46.7 percent of those polled said Biden would be a better U.S. president for Ukraine’s war effort, while 6.5 percent said the same about Trump.

Another 17.6 percent said “neither candidate would be good,” 6.7 percent said “either candidate is fine,” and 20.2 percent said they don’t know.

The poll result comes just two months after Biden signed into law a $95 billion war aid measure that included yet more aid for Ukraine as well as Israel and Taiwan, as Breitbart News reported.

The question posed was predicated on the statement Biden and Trump “are campaigning to be the next president of the United States” and asked respondents to select the candidate they think would be better for Ukraine’s war effort, if elected.

The survey was conduct May 16-28 and included 2,002 respondents, using cell phones throughout the country. The margin of error is 2.4 percentage points.
