A second man has been arrested in connection to the Parsons Green terrorist attack, Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “A second man has been arrested by detectives from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command investigating the terrorist attack at Parsons Green on Friday, 15 September.
“The 21-year-old man [B] was arrested in Hounslow at around 23:50hrs on Saturday, 16 September.
“He was arrested under section 41 of the Terrorism Act and taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.”
This arrest follows the arrest of an 18-year-old male at the trafficking hub port town of Dover, Kent, and the raid at a property owned by a well-respected couple who foster child refugees at Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, on Saturday.
