Anti-Assad demonstrators gathered in London Saturday afternoon, calling for an end to the Syrian Civil War.
Wearing Syrian flags and hijabs, the protesters marked the sixth anniversary of the failed Syrian Revolution that soon degenerated into the current conflict.
Demonstrators said they were marching to “support Syrians who have been marginalised, oppressed, tortured, starved, gassed, and killed on an unfathomable scale.”
The protest came on the same day as students and far-left activists took part in a “March Against Racism”, at which demonstrators spent much of their time criticising U.S President Donald Trump.
