UKIP leader Nigel Farage has told Breitbart readers to persuade their friends to go to the polling station next week to push ‘Leave’ across the winning line.

Speaking to Breitbart London Editor-In-Chief Raheem Kassam, Mr Farage said Brexit can win the referendum, but supporters need to actually go the polling station for it to happen.

“Not only is this the most important vote we’re ever going to have, but every one of you that believes we should be an independent country can go and persuade two or three more people to actually go to the polling station next week,” Mr Farage said.

“I met a guy this week in Ramsgate. He hadn’t voted since 1975 in any form of election and he agrees with us, but we’ve got to persuade people like that to actually go and do it, because if people who believe in what we’re doing go and do it we will win.”

Mr Farage was speaking at the launch of a new poster titled ‘BREAKING POINT’ that uses a picture of a long line of migrants pouring into Slovenia, pointing out the failing of the European Union’s migration policy.

Mr Farage said that this would be the first in a series of posters to be revealed during the final week of the campaign.

“This is the real UKIP campaign – it begins today, a week to go, we’re putting our big resources into this and we kicked off with the theme here that reminds us that the EU is failing everybody, not just Brits, it’s failing the rest of the European continent too.

“We’ll be unveiling a new picture every day for the next seven days, and I think this campaign is a big campaign and I hope it is enough to get us over the line.”
