A notorious leading campaigner for Britain’s open borders movement has been sentenced after he was found to have attacked nationalists during a rally in Dover in January.
Syed Bokhari – perhaps best known as the co-founder of the “humanitarian” group London2Calais – was sentenced to a 12 month community order and 150 hours unpaid work after admitting to threatening behaviour at Thanet Magistrates Court this week.
The 28-year-old former London riots convict turned “humanitarian” was found to have hurled objects at demonstrators in Dover during a clash of hard left and nationalists, as reported by Breitbart London.
According to the Dover Express, Mr. Bokhari, “can be seen throwing missiles at… protestors and fighting on the footage – but the security cameras don’t show where they landed.”
“Julie Farbrace, prosecuting, said two groups clashed near Dover Priory Station and Bokhari was part of a group of left wing demonstrators.”
Breitbart London has previously exposed Mr. Bokhari’s threatening behaviour, and the actions of his pro open borders wife, Mona Dohle.
In February, Mr. Bokhari used a speech to his fellow activists to promise to use “Palestinian tactics” to “bring [the UK] government to its knees”.
While it is unclear what Mr. Bokhari had thrown at the scuffles in January, Palestinian rock throwing is a long-standing intimidation tactic that has killed around 14 Israelis in recent years.
His wife told Breitbart London, despite evidence, that migrants were not to blame for the Cologne sex attacks.
Mr. Bokhari is originally a Pakistani asylum seeker who was handed a nine-month sentence for raiding a London electronics shop during the city’s 2011 riots.
He has previously written on Facebook: “Anyone who wants to [say] ‘Syed [is] just a charity worker now’ – I’m happy to prove to you fools that I ain’t no humanitarian… A big f*** you to the Met police, Special Branch, MI5, GCHQ, the whole of France, David Cameron and the Conservatives.”
London2Calais has been supported by the Green Party, as well as anti-Israel groups. They have hosted speakers from open borders groups funded by Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, and European Union-funded groups such as Asylum Aid.
Mr. Bohari’s lawyer insisted: “He felt he was being targeted by the right wing groups involved. Since this incident he has withdrawn from all political activity.”
He was given a 12 month community order, including 150 hours unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
The Chairman of the Bench, Ian White, commented: “We are not impressed to hear that missiles were thrown.”
