Scotland’s Minister for Europe, Humza Yousaf, has taken to Twitter to bemoan ‘Islamophobia’ following Breitbart London‘s reporting on his self-professed “radical” background, and comments about wanting more migrants in the United Kingdom.
Yousaf, whose pedigree Breitbart London has previously reported on, has claimed he has received ‘Islamophobic’ tweets as a result of an article that simply reported his own wishes for Scotland, and by default the United Kingdom, to take vast swathes of the Mediterranean boat migrants that even EU officials have now admitted will lead to ISIS operatives entering Europe.
He wrote:
Mr Yousaf continued to make light of his established links to the Muslim Brotherhood, via his cousin Osama Saeed, who was awarded £400,000 for a Muslim festival entitled “IslamExpo” that never took place. At the time of writing, the Scottish National Party and ‘Yes’ campaign for Scottish Independence refused to comment on Mr Yousaf’s past, despite various requests from Breitbart London.
Yousaf, who has called for Scotland to take in Palestinian refugees, and urged a full arms embargo of the State of Israel, then went on to tweet pictures of himself in a kilt, and in Christmas attire, in an attempt to paper over the cracks of his past.
According to the Guardian, Yousaf became involved in politics just after the 9/11 terror attacks, and helped organise coaches from Glasgow Central Mosque to the two million strong rally against the war in Iraq.
He once said that: “You have to keep being radical with your ideas”, and before being elected to the Scottish Parliament, Yousaf had been a media spokesman for Islamic Relief, a charity that has been accused on a number of occasions of being a front group for radical Islam.
