London Mayor Boris Johnson struggled this morning after a confrontation with a black cab driver on his LBC ‘AskBoris’ radio show.
Johnson used the question and answer session to set out how his administration was tackling the problems of black cab drivers, who are unhappy about the Uber minicab service, as well as minicab companies “saturating” the market.
But asked by host Nick Ferrari how there were non-English-speaking cabbies operating in London, Boris was a little lost for words.
“I’ve personally never encountered one but I’m told it is the case…”
