The girl who alleges she was abused by Prince Andrew was introduced to the Queen during a visit to London, her father has claimed.
Sky Roberts, whose daughter Virginia claims the prince abused her on three occasions, said that his daughter had been “so excited” to meet the Queen, however Buckingham Palace has moved swiftly to deny the claim. A spokesman said: “There is nothing to suggest that this claim is true. We have no record of such a meeting.”
However, Mr Roberts told the Sun: “Virginia told me a few years back that she met Prince Andrew when she went to London.
“She also said while they were there she met the Queen.
“She was so excited about meeting the Queen.
“She had been flown to London by Jeffrey. He would fly her all over the world and she would give him massages on his private jet.”
The new claim comes as police sources confirmed Prince Andrew could face a Scotland Yard investigation. A spokesman for London’s Metropolitan Police said of Miss Robert’s complaint: “We have not received any allegations at this stage. If we did receive a complaint we would investigate it.
“We are, of course, duty bound to investigate any allegation of a crime that is made to us, regardless of the nature of the allegation.”
The Palace has been forced to issue a number of denials over the weekend as more details emerged, issuing a further statement saying: “It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”
Prince Andrew has ‘categorically’ denied any sort of relationship with Roberts. As he is not a party in the ongoing court case, he had no warning that he would be named in the papers, and has not filed a rebuttal through the Florida court.
