The annual Christmas carol service at King’s College London (KCL), was disrupted by a “attention seekers” who filmed themselves shouting. But the joke was on them when the video of the event showed just how little reaction they solicited from the Christian worshippers.

Students and staff had practised extensively for the prestigious event held at the Century Chapel, on the college’s Strand campus. The unknown intruder shouted “let’s raise the roof” over and over again as he danced around the middle aisle of the chapel. He then invited the crowd to chant “say oh, oh, oh” however he was met with complete silence, before they were politely asked to leave.

The video then claims “no Christians were harmed in the making of this video… though we did have to run away”. Although the video does not show any chase, leading to suspicions that this might be a further attempt to damage the reputation of the event organisers.

Students at KCL were unimpressed with the display. Josh Boyle, a second year Philosophy student told Breitbart London: “It’s sad that someone thought it would be a good idea to disrupt people’s worship like this. I think justice was served, though, when they got no reaction at all. They were attention-seekers, nothing more.”

The carol service took place earlier this month but the video only went viral this week.
