Spanish socialists lose almost half their seats

The Spanish government has announced official results. They show a” shocking defeat” for the Socialists, according to European Voice. They have scored just 14 seats, down from 25 in the current Parliament. The governing centre-right PP will have 16 seats. A surprise, because even exit polls released earlier this evening had the Socialists higher.
