In these trying times, Jackie Mason is the Voice of Reason.
Jackie is stunned by the news the “great news” that House Speaker Paul Ryan is living Congress.
“Everybody knows he’s quitting but nobody knows what he was doing in the first place,” Jackie said of the long-time Wisconsin representative.
“‘I’m quitting for a different reason, it’s an important reason, because I want to spend time with my family,” Jackie says immolating Ryan.
Jackie doesn’t think the America people will miss Paul Ryan, nor will they notice that his counterpart in the Senate, Michael McConnell, is still in office “doing nothing.”
“If think Paul Ryan is doing nothing you should take a look at Mitch McConnell,” Jackie said. “Mitch McConnell would like to do something but he doesn’t know how. Because he’s done nothing for so many years.”
“And by the way. You want to know what they want to do now, pass an immigration bill. What does that mean? Whatever it is, one thing is definite, it’ll never pass, it’ll never accomplish anything because it never did before. Why should it accomplish anything now?”
