The latest iteration of the Jurassic World film franchise, Fallen Kingdom, does not debut in the U.S. until June 22 but stars Chris Pratt and Jeff Goldblum turned up to host a sneak preview of the film for members of the military and their families in Hawaii.
Fox News announced the stars’ sneak preview posting a picture of the actors, Sailors, and Airmen to Twitter:
“JurassicWorld: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt, and Jeff Goldblum pose for a photograph with Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Sailors and Airmen. The stars of the film visited with Sailors, Airmen, and their families before a special screening of the movie,” the tweet read.
The sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World opened big this weekend in markets outside the U.S., earning nearly $150 million in its first five days overseas according to Forbes. Fallen Kingdom is on pace to be the fifth-biggest international opening of the year.
By some reckoning, the film could open to a whopping $380 million debut.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star Chris Pratt has a long history of supporting the military. In 2016, for instance, he joined other stars in the “Got Your 6” program that helps veterans re-integrate back into society. Last year, Pratt became part of the #Flex4Forces campaign hosted by the USO.
