Actor Michael Rapaport launched into an obscenity-filled rant against Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Sunday after the Ingraham Angle host told NBA star LeBron James to refrain from speaking about politics and instead just “shut up and dribble.”
Ingraham had said on her show this week that James could serve as a “cautionary lesson” to children not to take political advice from pro athletes, after the Cleveland Cavaliers star criticized President Donald Trump in a podcast interview.
“This is what happens when you attempt to leave high school early to join the NBA, and it’s always unwise to seek political advice from someone who gets paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball,” Ingraham said. She later issued an invitation to James to appear on her show for a debate.
But Rapaport sprung to James’s defense in a video posted to his Twitter account.
“I’m apologizing in advance, I know this is going to offend some women. But I had to do it,” Rapaport began.

“No cluckhead, you shut up and dribble… deez nuts, b—h. You mayonnaise-eating, melba toast no seasoning on your chicken cracker. Your butt is so flat that when you stand up you could see your entire a—le. I’m sorry ladies, I warned you at the top.”
“Your lord and savior Donald Trump wouldn’t even grab you by the pussy. If he did he’d probably get his fingers caught in a mousetrap,” he continued. “You went to college, Laura, and you’re proud of that, and what do you got to show for it? A mouth full of fake teeth, a face full of Botox and some dry-ass hair extensions. And you still never got f—ed right, you little jumpoff.”
Rapaport frequently posts profanity-laced tirades to his social media accounts, and has previously taken aim at both the president and Vice President Mike Pence.
In August, the Atypical actor called White House advisor Jared Kushner a “penny-pinching, pissing-while-you-sit-punk” and told him to “take the f—king dreidel out of your ass.”
Rapaport was fired from his other job at Barstool Sports on Sunday after tweeting that the sports website’s fans had “lost in life.”
“You fired f—k. Of course you’re fired, Rapaport, what the f—k did you think was gonna happen?” Barstool founder Dave Portnoy told the actor in an “emergency press conference” video issued from his bed. “I never fire people. I’m firing someone before I’ve gotten out of bed… Just f—king keep your mouth shut sometimes.”
