Hollywood director Joss Whedon released a series of tweets over a span of days, in which he attacked President Donald Trump and wrote a poem professing how he misses the days when Barack Obama was president.
The Avengers director began his social media meltdown on Tuesday, tweeting a photo of House Speaker Paul Ryan with blood pouring from his mouth.
Whedon captioned the tweet, saying, “not pictured: the blood on his hands.”
Whedon’s Ryan-bashing tweet came as the House passed its sweeping tax cut bill.
On Wednesday, the self-described feminist lashed out at Trump over his so-called campaign to “expunge Obama’s legacy.”
“History will remember President Obama as better than he was because of YOU, @realDonaldTrump,” Whedon tweeted at Trump. “Your desperate need to expunge Obama’s legacy has helped ensure it. This makes me laugh when little else does.”
Then, Whedon waxed poetic, saying, “*Trump takes office * I miss Obama *tax plan passes* I miss George III.”
Hours later, Whedon urged his two hundred thousand-plus Twitter followers to listen to anti-Trump rapper Eminem’s song “Like Home,” on which the Grammy-winner calls the president a Nazi.
“I’ll just be over here playing “Like Home” on repeat till 2019, you guys have fun (srsly, if u need to b inspired/reinvigorated…) #Eminem #aliciakeys #startfromzero #andforHeather,” Whedon tweeted.
Whedon, of course, is no stranger to social media meltdowns, taking to Twitter earlier this year he said: “I want a rhino to fuck Speaker Paul Ryan to death.”
In August, a popular Whedon fan website, “Whedonesque,” announced news that it be shutting down operations after 15 years after the Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator’s ex-wife, Kai Cole, accused him of having “multiple affairs” with “his actresses, co-workers, fans and friends.”
