Bleecker Street released the first trailer for its upcoming heist comedy Logan Lucky this week.
Channing Tatum and Adam Driver play down-on-their-luck brothers Jimmy and Clyde Logan, looking to score big by knocking over the Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. To help them in their scheme, the brothers engineer a prison breakout for Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), “the only guy who knows anything about blowing up real bank vaults.”
Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Traffic) directs off of a script from newcomer Rebecca Blunt. The film stars Tatum, Driver, Craig, Riley Keogh, Hillary Swank, Seth MacFarlane, Dwight Yoakam, Katherine Waterston, and Brendan Gleeson.
Logan Lucky is in theaters August 18.
