Comedy Central’s Jordan Klepper will attempt to “solve” the contentious gun control debate with the premiere of a one-hour comedy special in June.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the special will focus on the “legal obstacles and personal stories around the issue of gun violence.” Guests will include pro-gun control Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), former ATF agent David Chipman and one-time NRA lobbyist Richard Feldman.

The show will feature footage of Klepper embedded with Georgia Security Force militia and “[training] with former Army Special Ops soldier Pat McNamara.” Klepper will also reportedly interview “moderate gun owners” from the Midwest.

“This special isn’t just about America’s relationship with guns—it’s about how needlessly toxic the debate around that issue has become,” Klepper said in a statement. “Also, doing my part to bring the country together, I show my ass on television.”

The special is apparently meant to keep Klepper in the public eye while his own show–a Daily Show spin-off–prepares to launch.

During a December 2015 segment on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,  Klepper took part in the mainstream media’s mockery of the NRA’s position that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. To do this, he took a firearms training on camera and snickered at the principles of gun safety throughout the process. He laughed at the plastic gun he was handed, which was a safe way of teaching him to handle a real gun, and he offered a plethora of wisecracks to the instructor who stressed that being responsible is paramount in using and carrying a gun.

In the end, Klepper was able to pass the written test on gun safety, and laughed at that as well.

Jordan Klepper Solves Guns premieres June 11 on Comedy Central.
