Bill Clinton will fill in for Hillary Clinton at a pair of fundraisers in Beverly Hills on Tuesday as the Democratic presidential candidate recovers from pneumonia at her home in New York.

The candidate was set to attend an afternoon fundraiser at the home of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane on Tuesday afternoon before heading to the Beverly Hills home of billionaire IAC chairman Barry Diller and his wife, fashion designer Diane von Furstenburg, for a dinner event.

The former president will instead appear at both fundraisers, according to Deadline.

Clinton cancelled the fundraising jaunt to California after apparently falling ill at a commemoration event for the 15th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City on Sunday. Clinton reportedly left the Sunday morning event early, and video posted later online showed the candidate being helped by aides into a motorcade van.

The Clinton campaign said the candidate had felt “overheated” at the event. Later Sunday, Clinton physician Dr. Lisa Bardack issued a statement saying the candidate had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Clinton is reportedly resting at her home in Chappaqua, New York.

Bill Clinton’s move to stand in for his wife may come as a relief to attendees of both fundraisers, who have paid tens of thousands of dollars to be at the events. Tickets for lunch at MacFarlane’s house — which will also feature a performance by Lionel Richie — reportedly start at $5,000 and go up to $50,000.

Tickets for the Diller-von Furstenburg dinner — billed as a “Conversation and Dinner with Hillary Clinton” and co-chaired by former Disney chief Michael Eisner — cost $100,000 per couple.

Clinton was set to appear via satellite at a Monday afternoon event in San Francisco featuring musicians k.d. lang and Lizz Wright, according to the Washington Post. Tickets for that event began at $250 and topped out at $50,000 for chairmanship.

Hillary Clinton last visited California in August, when she raised $18 million during a three-day fundraising swing through Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Clinton raised $143 million in August, while Republican Donald Trump raised $90 million.
