Legendary Pictures brought the first trailer from its upcoming monster flick Kong: Skull Island to Comic-Con Saturday morning.
The King Kong origin story will help set up Legendary and Warners Bros’ Marvel-style “monster universe” which is supposed to culminate with a Godzilla vs. Kong movie, according to Deadline.
The film’s stars — Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Corey Hawkins and John Mitchell were reportedly on hand Saturday morning inside Hall H to unveil the first trailer for the film.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) directs off of a script from Max Borenstein, Derek Connolly, John Gatins and Dan Gilroy. Samuel L. Jackson and John C. Reilly also star.
Kong: Skull Island is in theaters March 10, 2017.
