Actress Olivia Wilde has teamed with one of her former directors to create a powerful public service announcement in honor of World Down Syndrome Day.

Titled “How Do You See Me?” the 2-minute PSA explores the ways in which people with Down syndrome perceive themselves, and how they can often be disadvantaged by the way others see them.

“I see myself following my dreams even if they are impossible — especially because they’re impossible,” 19-year-old New Jersey college student Anna Rose Rubright says in the spot. “I see myself as an ordinary person with an important meaningful beautiful life. This is how I see myself. How do you see me?”

Wilde worked with her Meadowland director Reed Morano and Rubright on the PSA, which aims to raise awareness around the disorder ahead of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21.

The PSA was created by Saatchi and Saatchi for the Italian organization CoorDown. The new spot marks the fifth consecutive year that the ad agency has created spots promoting World Down Syndrome Day.
