UPDATE: The Sun reports that “the actor’s list of exes includes an award-winning actress, a religious movie star, a top Hollywood personality with a controversial past, a TV star, a media personality and a glamour model.” The UK tabloid also asserts that the star’s lawyers are allegedly “preparing for a raft of potential legal claims from previous lovers.”
….
According to RadarOnline, a Hollywood megastar known for his provocative, playboy party lifestyle has been keeping a secret from the world for at least two years: He is HIV-positive.
The site has chosen to conceal the identity of the actor for the time being, but reports multiple well-informed sources from the industry have confirmed the star has HIV, which he may have contracted in 2013.
Although it’s unknown exactly how he was exposed to the virus, the middle-aged actor is reportedly notorious for his one night stands, drug binges, and encounters with prostitutes, all of which increase one’s chances of contracting HIV.
The actor reportedly thought he was “indestructible,” and fell into a deep despair after learning his condition and chose to keep it confidential out of fear that his fans will lose respect for him.
The star has allegedly spent a fortune attempting to silence his former sexual partners, as well as others who later discovered his HIV status, but his condition has become somewhat of an “open secret” in Hollywood as people he once confided in are coming forward, per the site.
Sources allege the actor continued to be promiscuous, despite knowing he had HIV, and have called it a “public health hazard.”
Some of the star’s past sexual partners feel the actor played “Russian roulette” with their lives, according to a source.
“He led a dangerous lifestyle,” said another source. “He’s learned this the hardest possible way.”
Radar also claims to have obtained a video in which one of the actor’s former partner’s reveals he exposed her to the life-threatening virus.
Sources say after learning the status of his health, the unnamed actor would often keep to himself, while barely going out in public and only seeing friends and family at his home.
He also attempted to “numb” the pain through intense episodes of drinking and drug binges.
The average survival time after an individual is infected with HIV is about nine to 11 years, but the actor has been treated with an “AIDS cocktail,” which has proven to be successful thus far.
“His medical outlook is positive,” said a source.
While reps for the Hollywood star have denied he has HIV, his friends reportedly want him to face the problem publicly by admitting he has the virus.
“He was teary-eyed as he told friends that he had it, but he felt that a public admission would destroy him and his fans,” said a source.
“His worst fear is that he will be remembered not as a great actor but as someone who contracted the disease… He has been tortured by the thought that his acting genius will be forgotten.”
